Default A Ranger's Crafting Materials?

I have a crapload of Crafting Materials in storage that I never use, so I would just like to ask: Which crafting materials would a Ranger actually need in order to purchase ranger gear? I'm about as far as Droknar's Forge and I just got to the wierd jungle area in the far, far west... west of Kryta.

I would like to use my storage space for collector's items, but there's no room, because of all the crafting materials.

If you're at Droknars Forge, go to the armor crafter and see what he's offering. Otherwise, use the SEARCH button.

*smacks head*...if you don't know how to do that, you REALLY shouldn't be in the forge...

too many runners...( i have nothing against them, but maybe you should ask if everyone has been there at one point or not)

otherwise, tanned hides is a basic component, you will need...ummm...200 tanned hides + i think it's 25 bolts of cloth (mask has either 8 ( i think) fur, linen, scales or silk) as well as 28 fur (fur-lined), scales (drakescale), steel ingots (studded leather) or 200 wood for druids.

this can, however be left at just the hides in the case of leather.

Most go with Druids, so Tanned Hide and wood are the biggies.

Out of curiousity, why would on earth would you actually STORE collector's items? They're worthless and have no use for other than fighting. They have NO value on the market and only a couple of them have special skins, and even those are easy to get a hold of.

Well maybe hes storing for the new armor in Chapter 2? As said main parts is wood, tan hides, than for the other parts such as fur, scales, and some other rare materials rather than regular.

Ok, thanks all... Now I know what to hang onto and what to get rid of. I know how to check the Droknar armor/weapon smiths, but I don't know if the ones AFTER Droknar will have different requirements for better gear that I should hang onto.

Example: what if the NEXT area has a new armor class that needs bones or something unexpected? Then what? Btw, is that the case later on? Are there new materials needed later on, that are different from the norm?

Drok's armor has the highest AL in the game. Which means if you craft Droks and then play through Kryta, you might ruin the fun for yourself. There's 15k and FoW armor, but those don't have any whacky requirements.

For Druids Armor, it takes 225 tanned Hides, 225 Wood for the gloves, boots, leggings, and coat. And for the Archer's mask it's 25 Cloth and 4 Linen. (Just got mine today, so I know this) Can't say what the other masks/ armors take.

The 15K and FoW armor have the same AL as Droks, the highest in the game. They just cost 10x as much and look better (well, not always better ).
